Hilary graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Arts in 1996. After many years in the field of Continuing Medical Education (CME), Hilary decided to further her education at Seton Hall University and received her Master of Science - Physician Assistant degree in May 2009. She graduated with honors and with an award for excellence in clinical achievement. She also holds a postgraduate certificate from the American College of Rheumatology/Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals in Adult and Pediatric Rheumatology.
She is board certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants. Hilary is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, The New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants and the American College of Rheumatology. She is also an adjunct clinical professor at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences as well as Thomas Jefferson University, Department of Physician Assistants. She has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA).
Hilary has had a passion for rheumatology since her own diagnosis with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1997. She has firsthand knowledge of the pain and struggle rheumatic disease brings to each patient, but also knows very well how patients can triumph over even the most debilitating symptoms.
